Jennifer Garner, born April 17th, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was born in Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner served as an engineer at Union Carbide. Her mother Patricia Ann taught at a local university. So that she could follow the tradition of her father, she obtained a degree in chemical engineering. Then she moved into New York in order to pursue her dream of becoming an actor. As she appeared in Broadway shows, she also served as a server in an adjacent restaurant.
