Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Markie Post was an actress as well as on a variety of game show. When she was a kid she grew up within Walnut Creek with her siblings and poetry writer Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School is where she was a student and took part in cheerleading. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They share two girls.
